Washington State Department of Transportation crews work to replace concrete panels on eastbound Interstate 90 between mileposts 53 and 54 Wednesday.

Drivers on eastbound Interstate 90 headed back to Kittitas County and points beyond may find themselves part of delays due to planned concrete panel replacements being executed by the Washington State Department of Transportation. According to the department’s Twitter feed, lane closures will be in effect while the dozens of replaced panels cure. The project is located between mileposts 53 and 54.
